With the passage of time the scope and nature of ‘tatsama words’ have been remarkably moderated in the process of standardization of Hindi. Therefore reorientation and classification of tatsama is needed. Our constitutional ambition also emphasizes on standardization of Hindi through tatsama words . Present research by Bipin Kumar Jha under supervision of Prof Malhar Kulkarni and Prof K Ramasubramanian, focuses on the categorization, taxonomy, grammatical and linguistic aspect of new words which are being used in Hindi and other Indian languages frequently.
