You can browse the Hindi Wordnet through this interface. Hindi wordnet is based on idea of English WordNet. It is more than a conventional Hindi dictionary. It gives different relations between synsets or synonym sets which represent unique concepts.
  • This web site uses Unicode for Devangari fonts.
  • To view the pages correctly Unicode support should be installed on your computer.
  • Please visit unicode-support.doc (microsoft word file) to install unicode on the machine.
  • Please use keyboard map to enter word in unicode.
  • Windows 2000,Windows XP and Windows NT is preferred for best viewing.
  • If you do not see the fonts properly, Make the setting as follows: Right Click -> Encoding -> UTF-8.
  • In Linux, Viewing may not be as good.
  • Windows 98 view can not be gauranteed.
  • Searches that recursively traverse down noun hierarchies from very high in a tree (hyponyms of animals) are slower, as they require more processing.
